Oaks & Âmes Soul Series – Iconic Edition is a nine-year-old amber rum that embodies elegance, craftsmanship, and the art of slow maturation. Distilled from pure Mauritian sugar cane juice using a hybrid of red and yellow sugarcane varieties from Mauritius, this rum reflects dedication to quality and tradition. Aged for a minimum of nine years in a rare and diverse selection of casks—including sweet wine, new oak, Bourbon, Cognac, Monbazillac, and Oloroso sherry barrels—each sip reveals layers of character and refinement.

The production begins with fresh, first-press sugarcane juice, followed by cool fermentation at 18–20°C for 8 to 14 days, preserving aromatic purity. Distillation is carried out in small batches of 400 liters using four hybrid copper stills equipped with catalytic converters, yielding a distinctive distillate at 80% ABV. The rum is filled into casks at 70% and matures slowly, developing complexity, depth, and a silky texture.

In the glass, the Soul Series – Iconic Edition displays a rich amber hue.
The nose reveals aromas of cigar box, dark chocolate, and orange zest, reflecting the intricate cask maturation.
On the palate, it is smooth and layered, with notes of cinnamon, leather, and bright citrus, beautifully balanced by the influence of Monbazillac and Oloroso barrels.
