Mc Explorer Islay XO is a bold and character-driven Mauritian rum, crafted from distillates of two different island distilleries. Produced from both pure sugar cane juice and molasses, this XO expression unites tropical richness with distinctive Islay whisky influence.

After ageing between 8 and 14 years, the rum was carefully married and double matured in bourbon casks and former casks from Laphroaig Distillery. This unique maturation brings together Mauritian warmth and structure with refined peat smoke, creating a powerful yet balanced profile.

Bottled at 49.5% ABV and presented in a gift box, this is a structured and expressive rum offering depth, smokiness, and elegant sweetness in equal measure.
