This rare rum stems from an adventurous cask selection by an independent French bottler, crafted at a distillery known for its rich and aromatic profiles. A single cask was chosen to marry two distinctive rum styles, resulting in a bold and layered creation that pushes the boundaries of traditional aging. Aged for eight years in ex-Cognac barrels under tropical conditions, this rum developed extraordinary depth and intensity. Enhanced by a high ester content, it offers a vibrant, structured profile with plenty of personality. Bottled at cask strength (59.5%) and limited to only 733 bottles, this is a true collector's gem for lovers of powerful, expressive spirits.
