Bougainville Single Cask is a bold and expressive rum made from 100% Mauritian molasses, bottled as a true Single Cask release. Aged for 7 years in a carefully selected Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, it delivers a distinctive and beautifully balanced profile.

The rum is produced through cool molasses fermentation at 18–24°C over 10 to 14 days, allowing rich aromatic development. Distillation takes place in small batches using 400-litre hybrid copper stills, producing a powerful, aromatic spirit at 79–83% ABV. Casked at 70%, the rum is then slowly reduced over six months to bottling strength, preserving its purity and aromatic intensity.

On the nose and palate, Bougainville Single Cask reveals an intriguing interplay of sweet, smoky, and subtly bitter notes. Bold and full-bodied, it carries a noticeable weight on the palate—rich and complex without becoming overwhelming. The PX cask maturation brings depth and balance, while the natural molasses sweetness is elegantly offset by a dry, slightly bitter finish.
