Oaks & Âmes XO Rum is a dry, satisfying, and complex expression that showcases refined craftsmanship and patience. Distilled from pure Mauritian sugar cane juice, using a unique hybrid of red and yellow sugarcane varieties from Mauritius, this XO matures for a minimum of 6 years in a carefully balanced mix of sweet wine, new oak, Bourbon, Cognac, and new American oak barrels.

Production begins with fresh, first-press sugarcane juice, followed by cool fermentation at 18–20°C over 8 to 14 days, preserving freshness and aromatic clarity. Distillation is carried out in small batches of 400 liters using four hybrid copper stills equipped with catalytic converters, producing a distinctive distillate at 80% ABV. The rum is filled into casks at 70% and left to mature slowly, allowing complexity and balance to develop over time.

In the glass, Oaks & Âmes XO reveals an inviting amber hue.
The nose is sophisticated and layered, offering aromas of earthy cigar box, sweet blackcurrant, salted caramel, delicate floral notes, and zesty orange peel.
On the palate, it unfolds with impressive complexity: herbal undertones, rich dark chocolate, and the sweetness of dry raisin and prune, culminating in a smooth, honeyed finish that lingers long and satisfying.
