Oaks & Âmes Hors d’Âge is an opulent, bold, and characterful rum, a true testament to time and mastery. Distilled from pure Mauritian sugar cane juice using a unique hybrid of red and yellow sugarcane varieties from Mauritius, this Hors d’Âge matures for a minimum of 10 years in a carefully crafted blend of sweet wine, new oak, Bourbon, Cognac, and new American oak barrels, creating a rich and complex spirit.

The production begins with fresh first-press sugarcane juice, which undergoes cool fermentation at 18–20°C for 8 to 14 days, preserving its aromatic purity. Distillation is performed in small batches of 400 liters using four hybrid copper stills with catalytic converters, yielding a unique distillate at 80% ABV. The rum is filled into casks at 70% and left to mature slowly, allowing its opulent flavours and deep hue to develop over a decade.

In the glass, Oaks & Âmes Hors d’Âge reveals a luxurious amber hue.
The nose is rich and inviting, with aromas of cigar box, delicate peach, orange blossom, and a subtle hint of mint chocolate adding freshness.
On the palate, it is well-rounded and complex, offering layers of bitter orange, dark chocolate, and smooth, buttery toffee notes. The experience finishes with a sweet, lingering finish that rewards slow sipping and reflection.
